Information Collection
Automated Homefinder is the sole owner of the information collected on the site
www.automatedhomefinder.com. Automated Homefinder collects information from our users
through various forms on our web site.
Sign-Up
In order to use this web site, a user must first complete the sign-up forms.
During sign-up users are required to give contact information (such as
name and email address) and real estate search criteria. We use this information to contact the
users about services on our site for which they have expressed interest, such as receiving email
updates of properties that meet their search criteria. It is optional for users
to provide real estate related information (such as relocation plans and house hunting dates),
but it is encouraged so that we may provide a more personalized experience on our site and the
most effective real estate services.
Information Use
We store information that we collect through user-completed forms, cookies, log files, and/or Participating REALTORS® to create a profile of our users. Participating REALTORS® are REALTORS® who have signed a confidentiality agreement with Automated Homefinder in order to provide additional Real Estate services, for which the users have expressed interest.
Preference/Profile
A customer preference, or profile, is stored information that we keep for individual users that details their
viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user's
personally identifiable information to improve the content of the site for the user.
This profile is used to tailor a user's visit to our Web site and to direct pertinent
real estate information to them. We do not share personal profiles with any third parties other than
participating REALTORS® and their authorized designees. Personal profiles can only be only be accessed by
designated Automated Homefinder employees, participating REALTORS® and their authorized designees.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information
about the user. We use only session ID cookies which allows the user to effectively use the Web site. For the
session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet
protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit
pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends,
administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad
demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked
to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are tied to personally
identifiable information to enable and enhance our Web-based service. We use
a custom tracking utility that uses log files to analyze use of the site and
serve our clients.
Communications from the Site
Market Updates and New Listings
The Automated Homefinder system emails users when new listings that match a user's
search criteria are posted on the Multiple Listing Service in their search area.
Services and Market Updates
If there are listings which match a newly registered user's search criteria, we send an
email with information about those listings to the user. A new user will also be assigned
to a Participating REALTOR® who may periodically contact the user to provide additional
Real Estate information or services and to improve the user's experience with our Web site.
Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types
of communications. Please see the Opt-out section below.
Automated Homefinder Participating REALTORS®
We partner with Participating REALTORS® that serve specific geographic markets to provide real
estate services to Automated Homefinder users. A Particpating REALTOR® receives the user's name, contact information, and
home search criteria in order to provide real estate services to the user.
Choice/Opt-out
Users who no longer wish to receive listing update emails or general communications
may opt-out of receiving these communications by following the "cease correspondence"
links that are included in email messages sent by Automated Homefinder, by contacting
the Participating REALTOR® who is assigned to them, or by contacting
us.
Links
This Web site contains links to other sites. Our Participating REALTORS® may also
provide users with a link to their own Web sites or other sites outside of www.automatedhomefinder.com,
which may be relevant to a user who has express interest in additional Real Estate services. Please
be aware that Automated Homefinder is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the
privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable
information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected
by this Web site.
Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and offline.
The information that a user provides when registering on www.automatedhomefinder.com is stored in our secure database that is only accessible by designated Automated Homefinder employees and the specific Participating REALTORS® assigned to the user.
Not only do we protect user information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. All of our users' information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our customer service representatives) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that store personally identifiable information are located at a secure facility.
Users may also access their own information online by providing the correct user name and password which they created upon registration.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as phone, email
or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a
way to correct, update, delete, or deactivate users' personally identifiable information.
This can be done from the "Customer Home" upon logging in to the user's account,
by contacting their assigned Participating REALTOR®, or by
contacting us for assistance.

We reserve the right to changes this policy at any time without notice. If we decide to change
our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, or other places
that we deem appropriate so our users may always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under
what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
