The city is home to the region's premier orchestral assembly and attracts some of the best musicians in the state. The orchestra performs concerts throughout the year and provided culture and entertainment to residents and visitors alike. The city also has a grand community theatre that performs about 15 shows each year. The shows may be mysteries, musicals, dramas, comedies, melodramas, or theatre for children.
