Pine lies 46 miles southwest of Denver. Its proximity to the Denver - Aurora Metropolitan area allows residents to commute to the city and back for employment or business purposes and other necessities as well. There are also plenty of good schools in close proximity to Pine. Among these are Elk Creek Elementary in Jefferson County, West Jefferson Middle School in nearby Conifer and Conifer High School located in the same community.
