Natural lovers may enjoy wildlife exploration and the area is a natural setting for rock climbing. Castle Pines also contains premiere golfing venues, such as the Castle Pines Golf Club which hosted the annual PGA Tour's "The International" until 2006. Because of the city's close proximity to Denver, many residents choose to drive to the city for world class entertainment and upscale dining. This way, they can enjoy the best of both worlds.
