Elitch Gardens Denver ColoradoDenver, Colorado has a wonderful amusement park located right in the heart of the downtown area called Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park.  Known as "Elitch's" this amusement park is loved by people of all ages and hosts some of the most fun seasonal events the city has to offer.  Started in 1890 at another location, Elitch’s is now located at 2000 Elitch Circle which is easily accessible via I-25.  This new location offers 68 acres of fun and excitement, and is fully equip with ample parking, picnic, dining, entertainment, and changing facilities.  The park holds seasonal hours and is open from late April to just after Halloween where they close out the year with their insanely popular Fright Fest.
