Both of these attractions bring thousands of individuals to the area each year and residents enjoy having cultural activities located within the city limits.
The South Texas State Fair is held in Beaumont each year, attracting thousands of additional visitors to the area. The fair has been hosted by the city since 1907 and has only changed locations once, in 2004 to its larger present day quarters. The availability of numerous activities in the area for residents and visitors alike encourage many individuals to make Beaumont, Texas their home.
